
Mark Warner served as Governor of Virginia from 2002-2006. Prior to running for Governor, he spent 20 years in the high-tech industry and obtained a law degree from Harvard in 1980. Warner also helped create the Virginia Health Care Foundation, which provided health care to more than 600,000 Virginians. He was elected to the Senate in November 2008 and this is his first term.
